DENVER — THE FORECAST BY: Meteorologist Keely Chalmers
FORECAST HEADLINES: Today we will be back under westerly flow and the cold front that dropped through the Front Range yesterday should keep highs slightly below the normal high of 65 degrees. Clouds will increase as will the winds this evening. Expect winds to gust up to 25 mph along the urban corridor this evening. The winds will calm overnight but pick back up in the morning. We'll start off our Friday dry but breezy with winds gusting up to 35 mph in the Denver-metro area, stronger to the south.
A system will move north of our state tomorrow bringing snow showers to the northern mountains early and clouds, scattered showers and maybe a thunderstorm for Denver and the plains. This will be a quick moving system that will be gone by the weekend allowing temperatures to warm with fair conditions.
Then another cold front sweeps through early Monday again bringing snow to the mountains and seasonal temperatures with windy conditions for Denver and the plains. Seasonal conditions remain until our next change arrives toward the end of the week.
